The Masked Spider, among one of the most dangerous creatures that lurk around the darkest part of the caves, many in the past have fallen victim of this pesky creature as kittens have been warned many times to never venture off on their own and this is why. Although they are vicious their webbing is what is very rewarding, Guards are to kill them but to also take their webbing with them as it proves to be a sure first aid to stop bleeding or mortal wounds. Professional hunters keep at least one in a cage defanged to have them weave this web out so that they can sell it. 

It also has a special illuminating property where it can reflect the light off of anything, proving useful to make reflectors, combine this with silk will bring out a sufficient shine to their wearers. The oils placed around the spider itself also will make a good use of cleaning off sticky material. 

 Beware, you are to stay away from them unless you have a long range weapon, a single bite from them can kill you within hours of movement. Leave them to the guards or professional hunters to deal with them. The reason they are called Masked SPiders is because when they hang in the darkness their eyes and back light up to form a mask like face, fooling those who have never seen a spider into thinking its one of their own and close in on it. then they attack when your too close. 

Addition: their may be a cure towards their poison, in old legend they say that if you mix a Nightmist with a Red globumpkin, and a sample of the spider's venom will make an antidote that will turn the poison into protien. BUt the victim will be under stomach pains for a few days or the chance it may not work and they could die. (Unofficial info)
